The Foundation of the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs Inc. awarded 12 grants, totaling more than $87,000, to area organizations, including many impacted by Hurricane Ian. Grants of $20,000 to Meals of Hope and $10,000 each to the Bonita Springs Assistance Office and Café of Life will provide food and other supplies. In addition, a $10,000 grant was made to FK Incorporated, a family-owned restaurant that gives back to the community, primarily services for foster children. In addition, donations were made to Bonita Springs Elementary School, “I Like Me” books for Bonita Springs schools, Fort Myers Beach Strong, Gift of Life, Wheelchair Foundation, Wonder Gardens, Wounded Warriors of Collier County and YMCA of Bonita Springs.
